Im gonna get flamed for this, but when you tip the sled an its side to turn it (carving) do you have to get hard on the gas?

If you are serious then Yes, hard on the gas. Not too much not too little.

i like the rollover technique of getting unstuck. gotta love the powder in the western UP

The rollover is a back (and time saver)...When you try it make sure you clear your throttle of snow...:)
