  • She means if your dog pees on the floor in the hall way and your in the living room and you don't notice for half and hour then don't punish your dog because it wont know y your punishing it.

  • Yeah, my dog knows it has done wrong, because it has been punished in the past. So now when he goes in the house he hides. They know they did wrong, because its honestly the only thing he gets punished for. He has an accident, I can't find him for about 20 minutes, then he comes out and sits by what he did. They remember.

  • Actually smacking the dog or putting their nose on it doesnt really train them anything. I did that with my dog and he would still have accidents. That only makes the dog fearful and physical punishment may even make them aggressive. Like the trainer said its better to catch them in the act and immediatly take them outside. :)

  • so not true we leave our dog alone when we are asleep in the living room he had his accident my mom just sticks his nose into his pee or poo and smacks him but he still loves my mom even if she hit him 3 times

  • they do remember. my friend's dog shat in the livingroom, they saw it an hour later and they took the dog, showed him the shit and he felt guilty and went back to his "bed"

  • @stickman787 hahahaha thats really funny i like it :)))

  • @stickman787 lol more than likely he hides under beds , lol

    thats where ours hide.

  • @stickman787 haha thats so cute!

  • I did not understand nothing she says

  • Yeah, Ive trained mine to go on a special rug.. He tears the newspaper we put down, but hes learned to wait to go outside, 8 weeks old. He has night-time breaks, though..
