3M showed off a prototype device using its mobile projection engine, a shipping component that device makers can OEM. This nifty little technology will let you project the image from your PDA, for example, onto a small or large surface area.
Reporter was wrong, this product is not available "now". It is only available to developers for a company that a pico projector will go inside of... still in the development stage, just like Microvision. Microvision, Texas Instruments, and 3M are the major players in this soon to be booming market.
