I can't like Tess because of her just barging in and taking Max off of Liz. Although she is pretty.

She came in, yes, but Max chose to be with her. He could've kept pursuing Liz, no matter what he thought happened between Liz and Kyle, but he didn't. And if anyone should be blamed for breaking up the Max/Liz relationship, it should be Liz, who broke up with him, then "slept" with Kyle. And anyway, doesn't every show need a triangle, or multiple triangles. Oh, angst. *rolls eyes*
