-I wish I had a camera on that day, to do justice to such an incredible performance; in real life holly has an incredibly smooth voice that can give chills through your entire body, and matt's tone is even warmer, i just wish this video was better quality so that you could experience it fully.

  • The sound recording is not very good , but is well played. Where you record that ?

  • Matt is amazing , he went to this school back in the day, he comes back now and then with his wife and plays for the kids. I have a very cheap camera.

  • i can think of only one reason for negative comments...ENVY!

to me the guy swings what he is doing is playing the hi-hat pattern on his low strings...

if this idea was palyed by a well known guitarist then that would be,,,wow cool!!! but this poor guy is not and hence he is wrong..

i think the guitarist is superb, his technique is imppecable, and he definietly know jazz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You know, not EVERY jazz performance has to be virtuosic and busy. Keep in mind this is a pretty intimate setting with no bass or percussion. More often than not, less is more. The recording isn't great, but how do you justify your comments? A blaine vocalist would've sung the head without any deviation from the original melody and rhythm. Hardly the case here. And by def., (1st + last triplet figure), Matt definitely does that here. (Not every tunes needs to be swung either).

    mudy: fail.

  • Very good playing Matt! I'd like to use some of those voice leading concepts!

  • it's so smooth.

    nice to play guitar.

  • Matt sometimes helps with my schools jazz band, he is truly an amazing musician!

  • Recording is very bad, but artis are really great, love the voice

  • I have been playing the guitar for almost 40 years. Matt Warnock is an outstanding musician, guitarist and teacher. One of the best!!

  • Beautiful singing and playing. Only thing I observed and could comment on is that the guitarist plays chords mostlly on the and-of-one, which becomes quite predictable after a while. More variation would make it even more interesting. Beautiful solo, by the way!

  • Somthing about this is strange. the swing feel I think, anyways homeboy deffinatly knows his instrument. NICE SINGER!!!!

  • You're an idiot. Don't ever talk again.

  • Absolutely wonderful playing and singing. Its people like this who make me miss western.
