Dolphins In The Wild 2

We are a group of mermaids and mermen who regularly swim off the shores of Maui where we happily live. We are regularly graced with the spinner dolphins, and we are eternally grateful for this grace. We never chase them or try to touch them, and we simply enjoy the interaction that they allow us on any given day.

They come to us. Ive been swimming with them for almost 15 years. Sometimes they want to socialize, sometimes they dont, so its really *their* choice. Great question though. It really matters to me that people treat them respectfully. After all, we are merely "visitors" to the ocean: they LIVE there!! :)

@duigi56 They come to us.Itʻs one of those "being in the right place at the right time" kind of things - they have to be in the mood to socialize, and we have to be there when they are! :) Really - itʻs their world and weʻre just visiting. Lucky us.
