PHILLIPS: While it is true that there are many Muslims in Britain and around the world who do not subscribe to this murderous ideology and who do simply derive from their Islamic faith proper spiritual sustenance, it is also a fact that this thing we face, in Britain and America and the free world, is a war prosecuted in the name of Islam, underpinned by Islamic theology and mandated by the leading religious authorities in the Islamic world.
