That's great, my German Shepherd is 10 months and we just brought home a 3 month old pure Yorkie. Any tips on how to keep the peace?

@E3AndBelowStudios - you will have to decide what your'e going go do. What we did was bring the yorkie out in our hands and let the GS sniff him. The Yorkie growled, the GS licked him. We put him down, he growled a little more (he was like 2 pounds) and then that was that. Cody's temperament is amazing. Be sure of your own dog's temperament and make sure you know how he reacts if another dog growls. This was pretty automatic their love for each other. :)

How did you manage the german shepherd not to bite the yoekie?
My german shepherd sometimes bites my brother's yorkie and makes him afraid. My brother is afraid to let them both play alone so his yorkie sleeps in the second floor, so im asking you how do you control that? Me and my father are taking a walk with them both at the same time but my brother is still afraid. I will be very glad if you answer me.
Thanks
BTW: excuse my use of english if im wrong (im from peru)

@2bull9234 - Cody has a great temperament. We have trained him really well, But the thing is that he doesn't like ANY other dog, only Travis. So I don't have a good answer for you. He is much better with people than he is with other dogs. But for some reason when I brought Travis home, he just loved him. You may have to get a really good trainer involved to get them to be compatible. Your english is fine.

I'm getting a german shepherd when I get to high school (next year), and Cody seems really calm and well-trained. How did you teach him to be calm around other people/dogs?

@101SarahC - his temperament comes from his mom, I am told. We had him around lots of people all the time. Since the yorkie has come along, he has become very protective of him and no other dogs or animals can come in the back except our cat (who Cody is afraid of. :)
