Why is it so easy to visualise Vadin or some other systema preacher with a rifle aimed at his head just out of frame? He does seem so uncomfortable in this video. Maybe he's just shy. I wish there was more information on systema, I'm really walking the line between complete bullshit and an awesome combat system.

@m80cluster Like, when you go to hit someone, naturally, they flinch try to dodge or block. And their reactions aid you in flipping them of getting them to the ground. Or say if they were to try to attack you, if you were to dodge and maybe swing your fists at them in certain ways and areas, it could cause them to fall down. If you look at some of the vids for No Contact Combay by the group "Russian Martial Art" under Vladimir Vasiliev and Mikhail Ryabko, you can sort of see how they work. :)

@m80cluster The "No Contact Combat" is a real system that actually works, due to natural reflexes, psychological reactions; and fear helps it work even more effectively. Some martial artists who train in no contact combat such as Aikido, seem to believe that the no contact methods always work, however, they don't, the reasons they work are due to fear/natural reflexes. They'd work on untrained people, however people who are trained & experienced at fighting, they most likely wouldn't work.
