===Get the Game
1) Download the Game Here: http://code.google.com/p/fofix/downloads/list
Get the FullWin32 version for Windows users
2) Unzip the game using WinZip, WinRAR or any other file decompresser
3) Just run FretsOnFire.exe in the folder to play the game, no install

===Get Songs for the Game
Once you have the game, you need some songs.
1) Download mine here: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=867eab857fe09faeab1eab3e9fa335ca7f1a09a5f7...
2) Download many others here: http://fretsonfire.wikidot.com/custom-songs
3) Once you have your songs, unzip them too. Make sure the song files unzip all in one folder
4) Cut the folder and paste it into the data/songs folder in the FretsOnFire game folder
5) Your ready to play

whoever makes these charts obviously doesn't play real guitar :P. All of the verse and chorus is supposed to be chords

@StatikTurtle Actually I do, but this song was before I started. Even now that I play guitar the chorus still sounds like a single not but I've looked up the tabs and I realize it's chords. I haven't bothered to change because due to the slide I think single notes are the best choice and also it's not that big a problem.

do u have the same problem with not being able to hit red yellow and orange together, and yellow blue and yellow together, it wont let me for some reason

That's a problem with your keyboard. The program itself will let you use any key combination but most keyboards were not wired to be able to hold down certain keys at the same time such as the ones you have it set on. I use a Guitar Hero controller so I don't have that problem, but if you don't have one your only other option is to try a different set of keys. I used the 1-5 keys at first but found that F1-F5 worked much better so I went with that before I got my controller.
