How long do plasma balls last???
Animalkisser 6 months ago
@Animalkisser - They can last many, many years (decades even). If the gasses used are impure or react with one another, they plasma effect will fade and become "softer". But assuming they are professionally made and use the purest (research grade) gasses, they may last a very long time. The plasma in this video (the large one) has Borosilicate glass is nearly 25 years old. The smaller globe is a cheap modern one that has a plastic dome... it will be lucky to last a couple of years.
