UFONightHawk, I agree, but we have already clean, safe, powerful and renewable forms of energy, like solar- and geothermal power or the so called thorium-process (a clean and safe form of neuclear power, even IAEA advocates for decades). The big big problem is globalization, the resulting huge economic structures and lobbying. Hence, politicians are on a very weak position noadays, but people themselves don't exert any pressure. So our species is walking straightly into the yawning chasm. ;-))

I'm sure there are dangerous harmful technologies and honestly those can remain in the dark where they belong. However there are safer ways to power our vehicles, light our homes and feed our ever-growing digital needs, but I can't give you one example because the billionares who control the world have decided it is more profitable for them if I don't have access to this information. I can deal with "little white lies" but I won't stand by and watch our Earth destroyed for profit. peace, :)

UFONightHawk, that's correct and many scientists and engineers (I'm one of them) work with these things. The problem with all these advanced technologies is, they're even far more dangerous than nuclear power. Have you ever wondered, why you can't buy a chunk of reactor-grade plutonium (Pu239) from your next super-market? The reason is, these things are kept away from the general public. There are things, restricted access to materials can't help, but secrecy can.

I guess so Sacha4you. I just think if technology exists that is safer and cleaner for the planet then it should be exposed to the public. I really feel that the truth about this stuff is kept secret to not upset the monopoly on oil and it's not fair to the people or the planet. I'm not saying it's the USAF at all, actually I know it's not them...the web of lies has been spun so large I don't think in my lifetime we will find the spider who spun it. Thanks for replying! UFONightHawk, people always under- and overestimate USAF - both at the same time. Correct is, during the Cold War era, military went to all lenghts to evade being confronted with unidentified things (and own secret crafts like the B-2) by the general public. This has changed a bit - but not much. On the other hand, USAF can afford to be silent, since nobody on this planet (God excepted) is in the power to force them to open their mouths.
