And the worst part is, the one time the weather actually DID cause severe and widespread damage to nearly everyone in the viewing area a few years back, NONE OF THE WEATHER FORECASTERS SAW IT COMING. True story.

Haha, SO true!!! I live an hour away from Memphis and every single time it rains, the other stations ALWAYS act like everyone in the viewing area is going to die. Not to mention the literal all night gloom and doom sessions they'll have every so often. It never even occurs to these people that if everyone DID die as a result of the Killer Tornadoes From Hell they'd all have to go find real jobs (good luck with that in THIS economy). They're too busy trying their best to literally scare you.
