  • You can also make yourself deaf the way he works!

  • very cool, I wish I knew about using a wooden log with a divit and a hammer before I went crazy trying to shape a sheet for my cars floor. I got it ruff enough to keep the water out but it looks like crap. someday I got to make a proper patch for it, this video gets me that much closer. thanks

  • cool tip for slow curves ,what wood do you use for the former beech or oak or something ?

  • You make it look easy, Thanks for sharing :)

  • @eelguy95 you can use a slapper or flipper as brits say.low or no$?no problem.you can make one from a leaf spring from a wrecked car or truck.metal shappers.org i believe have plans with photos.you use a slapper over a dollie that matches the shape of the patch panel you"re trying to fabricate.themultiple light hits spread over the metal planishes or smooths it out.hope this helps.

  • @adamprince22 Thought that was the wax!

  • @chas4551 He's wearing ear plugs. Keep up the good work

  • Is there a way to smooth out the ripples without big power tools?

  • Also you can use a shrinker/stretcher to shrink those waves on the edges and an english wheel to smooth out your rough shaping on the bag.

  • Where is that power/planishing hammer from?
