'One Tree Hill' replaced 'In Gods Country' as a single for the New Zealand public only.
The song was in memory of Greg Carroll who was Bono's PA and died in a motorcycle accident in 1986.
U2 came to Auckland, New Zealand 24/11/06 and they played 'One Tree Hill' as it would have been strange of the not to.
It's a small filming cus my camera doesnt co big lol but the sound was awesome.
was at the front for this concert. brilliant. great song

That is correct (being from NZ myself!), One Tree Hill was released only in NZ at the time, and it stayed that way for quite some time, though with the re-issues available this year (2007) they've issued it out. I had copies of both albums, a US release and the NZ one, plus original singles on record (remember them!!) with the single on it.

UYou are (probably) correct. This was never a single in the US, but In God's Country was. I am pretty sure the official web site confirms this.
