Rend--A hitman for notorious mob boss Sergio--attempts to assassinate his rival, Jorge. Things go awry when he's betrayed by one of his own. Now he's out for revenge. A film about a true pirate.

Inspired by the great anti-heroes like Snake Plissken, The Man With No Name and Yojimbo, this modern day spaghetti western will rock your face off.

Shot on Super 16mm, edited in Vegas Pro, color correction in Magic Bullet, music written and recorded in Sonar. Edited and scored by Akira Wing. (more) (less)

  • @sonne5 t2i

  • Boy's this looks great.

Is there any way you can convert this into 1080p or 720p?

  • Very curious ... if you were to shoot a feature film on a limited budget ... would it be better to shoot on super16 or something like the 7d/t2i/red one? I own a hv20 and though it gives stunning images, it'll always have that very 'videoy' quality to it no matter how you light it or how much cc you do.

  • This was great, man!

  • @thegoosebrain Yes before tax. Though 100ft gets you about 3 minutes of shooting. So make it count.

  • looks interesting. nice visual shots...

  • Beautiful

  • I notice there are only half body shots. Is it hard to zoom out with 16 mm film?

  • no way! grain is beautiful, dood.

  • this is great! congratulations!
