  • Harper is a tyranical hypocritical bully who is shooting bull of his mouth, nothing but distractions from his ultimate plan. Which would be "Screw you, I want your money", he doenst care about families, he doesnt care bout anything else than the money! Well lemme tell ya, if I were to decide between a year of bad economy to my children freezing to death or dying of droughts through ENVIRONMENTAL concerns, well I'll take the leader willing to save the planet! Conservtives are just short sighted!

  • Yep, he's a bully.

    The Harper government

    scorns the Constitution,

    scorns the Supreme Court,

    Scorns Parliament,

scorns the will of the People,

    and scorns the facts.

    Just like all tyrannical power-pushers.

    Anyone but Harper!

  • Rick is a part of the reason why the Lieberals are a rump party now.People are tired of him and his blatant bag-licking to the Lieberals.Hence the results of May 2nd.....They will wallow in the swamp for many more years to come.....Which is just where they belong..:D

  • rather die believing in something than live ignoring everything.....is there a happy medium..51 percent is normal....so we would agree at least 51 percent is crooked....so does that mean its normal to be crooked in politics....sad but a possibilitie

  • @PhilipJFry72 So why did Harper refuse to even do THAT much, until threatened with a contempt vote?

I vividly recall Peter Mackay righteously calling anyone who even brought the issue up, a Taliban sympathizer. In other words, he refused to even look into it. Then, Harper and his goons took every opportunity to obstruct any attempt to investigate it (which would get any of us arrested if we tried it in the real world).

  • The problem with Liberals is they don't understand reality. And they don't ever want to.

  • When will Mercer stop playing to the narrow slice of the electorate who live mainly in Toronto? Come on, you can't do a rant on the Liberals sending troops and support to Iraq despite calling it an illegal war? Or on them sending our soldiers into Afghanistan without a parliamentary vote? Or on them wanting to raise taxes? None of these are gold mines for commentary? Guess not. It's always about Harper and never about the Liberals.

  • No, you're wrong. The so-called "evidence" that Harper critics have been braying over can't just be handed over willy-nilly. It needs to be found, examined for Privacy Act and National Defence Act provisions, and that's AFTER the material has been vetted as being important - and there is continuing discussion as to what is important.

Surely you're not saying that whatever anyone considers evidence must be handed over without due diligence...

  • @PhilipJFry72 Nothing has been withheld? How do you figure -- he's refused to hand over evidence from day one (if you actually read anything you would know that).

And by the way "slander" is not a subjective term, it is a legal one referring to verbally lying about someone in public.

  • blah blah blah "bush"

    booooooooooooooooooooooooooring.
