  • Foggy: Yes, you are right. Using the water to flush the toilets would have been a nice addition. In the final design, we decided not to because they need all the water they capture for watering the community garden during the summer. Extra water is available for flushing toilets during the winter months, and we considered tapping into the plumbing system, but the plumbing code would require us to add values and backflow preventors. We decided to keep it simple. Thanks for your comments!
