the problem with canada is not the health care system. I love how they avoid the fact that canada has an issue letting immigrants work university work. meaning immigrants normally can't teach or become doctors because the 1 year courses and testing cost too much. if immigrants would be allowed to work in these fields thenthere would be a completly different idea. The doctors get paid well, the quality of health care is good. the only problem is the shortage because we avoid letting them work

you really have to come here and see it for yourself, i suppose. i have had no bad experiences with it myself. i have to book an appointment to see my doc today. i am hoping to see him today, but i might have to wait until tomorrow, at the latest. you can't trust the media as they all have an agenda, (maybe i have an agenda) but i would say that everything michael moore said about the NHS was true, even if he did not mention some of the negative things, which i think are only very minor.

And you have to understand that a lot of what you hear about the US system is false. I have worked in an emergency room in the US for quite some time and just because people dont have insurance does not stop them from geting every treatment that is available to some one with insurance. that includes follow up care, medications, physical therapy, surgery and so on and so on. Who pays for it? Americans with insurance pick up for the debt with their increasing insurance rates.

3:10 I find it far more silly that Moore basically says that people die because they worry about paying the doctor.

this guy makes a lot of sense. sure, insurance companies aren't great, but imo, universal healthcare is even worse. it will result in one of two things: horrible (but cheap) care, or quality care that will bankrupt the gov't. you should use the free market solution (basically, let all doctors, medicine companies, and insurance companies compete with each other).

i think the problem is , is that there are good points on both sides , I Do not want Reform as much as i want a compromise .
