@ranivg Her dad's name was Mohammed Kaif. He was Kashmiri-Indian. He left the family when she was 1. Her mother gave her last name to the children. mother's name is SUSANNE TURQUOTTE. Google Image: Katrina Kaif Childhood and look at her pics. Compared to the other kids, she OBVIOUSLY looks Indian. she looks more Indian than Angela Johnson or Aruna Shields who are both half Indian.

I've seen her childhood photos on Pinkvilla. She clearly looks North Indian. When she stands next to her sister Isabella or a full white person, she doesn't look fully white. Turquotte is her mother's surname. Her dad LEFT THE FAMILY when she was 1 so it makes sense that she took her Mother's name.
