very interesting video; at one point you remind me of this quote by Eduardo Galeano
“Utopia lies at the horizon.
When I draw nearer by two steps,
it retreats two steps.
If I proceed ten steps forward, it
swiftly slips ten steps ahead.
No matter how far I go, I can never reach it.
What, then, is the purpose of utopia?
It is to cause us to advance.”

@JaysThoughts I agree, it is really the love of money that is the root of all evil, not money itself... And I do not understand the argument that if someone gets to make a profit or gain it has a negative immoral affect on those who did not... If I said that right! I can`t see it...I mean if we were in a tribal setting, is it fair to those who choose to take part in the hunting, fishing, gathering, building, and defending of that tribe receive the same rewards as those who don`t?

@JaysThoughts I agree, the Venus proj is a horrible failure of an idea (communism/technocracy).

@1cyanideghost I've talked to Fresco before. More than once. He has said outright that he does not believe in individuals or in individual rights. Collectivism all the way, saying that I should take what a computer gives me and be happy is no better than saying I should take what Stalin gives me and be happy. Someone programs, runs, operates, and maintains the computer. It is. ABSOLUTELY. Communism with robots.

@JaysThoughts are you saying that as long as there is a variety in quality being offered that this will not happen?
As far as it is my understanding, you and I are of the same mind. Howver, in a true capitalistic society, what determines the price/exchange rate of products? Would it be market force that solidifies prices? Also, in a true corporatism, what determines the price/exchange rate of products?

@Philosopheful In a laissez faire capitalism the prices are agreed upon by those who exchange goods or services, by mutual consent. In Corporatism, the corporation sets the price irrespective of supply and demand and the individual has no room for negotiation- he either accepts or does without.

Hi Jay! I still believe you have a true leaders voice...
Are we not forced to compete from the time we are introduced into an education system that enforces competition? Is it a law, to work for most companies a diploma is required? Don`t make the grades and your slow, don`t get a diploma and your a drop out and cannot work, don`t get a degree and you cannot work at Burger King! The chains that are holding us down are connected to the education system, or pre-slave school!
Peace!

@ISENTRY You know I love you man.. but competition itself is not the enemy. It's this corporatist extortion form that considers profit above and separate from people- the love of money- that is evil. To deal fairly with one another, to at least TRY to pursue the higher more humane ideals is not the goal, for instance, of Wal-Marx or their breed of company. Business to a corporation is not goods and services FOR people. It's to turn all life, even people, into commodities. THAT. is the evil.

good introduction. To reiterate, my idea of Economic harm can be seen in any competitive environment. In short, a business that detracts from another business' sales is causing them harm. The act of competing is stealing someone else's business, right?
Whether or not the business actually intends to do this is irrelevant because the harm is still being done.
I used the word "aggression" b/c you CHOOSE to compete, and your mere presence in the market is detrimental to someone else.

@MrShittyFag No one commits an immoral act by producing a superior product. No unfair loss is experienced by those who offer an inferior one.
