It's 180 feet (about 55 meters), and was the highest in Europe when it was built. It doesn't just drop, they give it a little push from the top.

I hated this ride at first, but now I've really grown to love it. The stand-up options are the most terrifying of all. Brill POV btw :)

you wouldnt notice that apocalypse is 170ft and oblivion at alton towers is the same height but oblvion goes underground
