@SuperJane99 a book on the battle of britain by paval vancatta (a czech writer) shows that the raf lost 399 aircraft to 612 luftwaffe lost in august, and 303 squadron only had 1 kill and their first on august 30th, they had most of their kills in september yet the performance of the RAF in the battle of britain didn't improve that month and they lost 414 to luftwaffe loss of 554 aircraft.

@RAF71chingachgook Poles were honoruble people and great warriors did not deserve Yalta traitory. I am glad that you told that argument on forum always defend Poland and her citizens, we did so MUCH for Europe and have received only TRAITORY and SELLING OUR LAND AND PEOPLE to communists.

Look for the documentary 'The Polish Battle of Britain'. It contains the truth.

Many of these pilots committed suicide after the war BECAUSE of the actions of Britain and America. Look for the truth.

Praise God for the Poles!!! You forgot to mention though, the heinous betrayal of the Poles by Britain and America after the war. They were handed back to Stalin and Winston Churchill and Roosevelt are responsible for the decades of Polish suffering AFTER the war. Post WWII there was a grand parade past the British king and the Poles were not invited. This action, to a friend who had helped, in no small measure, to win them their freedom, is WORSE than everything Hitler did.

@wolverine1934
I would STRONGLY recommend this book as well. althought sometimes for non-Polish readers it might seem to present only one point of view, and be slightly biased. It is still a fantastic read. Full of details not only from WW2, but (to help understand certain aspects) also from other periods of Polish history.
