Man Im 28 and this still freaks me out. I used to watch this when I was like 6 and I remember I couldnt watch this unless I sat with a wall behind me......just incase a headless women was behind me. They sure dont make movies like they used too

Holy shit!

I remember being freked by this as a kid. And don't shoot me, but I remembered seeing The Wizard of Oz and Return to Oz back-to-back as a kid and I actually preferred Return to OZ.

It was dark and grittier. Definitely left a bigger impact than the c9olourful singing kids moves shoved down our throats.

I saw this movie as a kid, and it traumatised me. Its now my favourite family movie for its dark story, atmosphere and characters. But damn, I STILL can't watch this part

This scene is pretty scary. If I was in Dorothy's shoes, I would have poked Mombi's original head in the eyes, nabbed the Powder of Life, rugby tackled her headless body and ran as fast as I can so that I have enough time for me and the others to escape before Mombi could get her head.
