You get use to it, I was 11 when I first experienced our siren go off. I never forgot that day, it's weird how tornados love coming on either May 23-4-5-6 or altogether.

im not trying to rub it in but i live in maryland and im glad i dont live in tornado alley..but some parts of texas dont get deadly tornadoes i dont think i would move some where other thatn the part of the stste you live in or move to maryland and or any where on the east or the west coast :)

Well...there's more to Texas than tornadoes. And anywhere you live in the world, there will be a threat of some type of natural disaster.
