"The Colossus of Rhodes" a video about one wonder now lost in sand and time .

As pointed in the video , all the INFOS were taken from WIKIPEDIA .
The 3D Graphic video added was from CIVILIZATION 4 the GAme , and was uploaded on Youtube by chankljp (Hope he won't mind me borrowing it :P)
The Song is from NeverWinter Night (the game) and the song is called : Waterdeep (after the city of Spalndor) .

@tetsuyanamamura As far as I know , they started rebuilding it . But the real issue that came up was the funds . Money , and since everyone is tight nowdays.......without funds . The project will stop....

Well, your muse may have taken a nap but she didn't desert you...this was great!! I remember learning about this as a child and it fascinated me; I didn't know they were rebuilding it! I hope it lasts more than 56 years this time...

Some believed that a big curse would fall upon the citizens in case they rebuild it. Others say that it would cost too large an amount.Today some say that it would boost tourisms in Rhodes. There was an annaouncement in November 2008 that the Colossus of Rhodes was to be rebuild and the new structure will be"a highly, highly structure" (between 60 and 100metres tall so that people and ships can enter it). There are many plans but the cost will be almost 200m Euros. Difficult...
