  • to people that haven't seen the movie or didn't grow up around the time it came out, then it would seem very pathetic, but you have to look at the fact that this movie was nothing but one big musical parody with some top name actors/actresses and shot in Austrailia.

  • Best movie ever!

  • this is my favorite movie ever. i have been watching it sence i was 6!!!!

  • still love this movie XD, one of the best ever made, and my god can Ted Hamilton sing XD

  • Awesome movie.....of course its cheesy now....but it was great back in 1983

Something about it just makes you happy inside.

Besides, who DOESNT want a happy ending to everything in life?

Of course it never happpens that way....but maybe?

  • This movie was my all time fav as a kid! I still love it today!

  • @emymummy around Victoria, The main house is in Werribee, its called Werribee Mansion. Everytime i go there, i always sing songs from the film, and yes, i do "give me a happy ending" to the disgust of my friends i am with....the beach scenes are along the Great Ocean Road also in victoria.

  • @shaithis45 this is a very excellent movie one of my favorates

  • @grunyen

i have this on dvd, i have my 7 year old daughter hooked on this movie, the greatest smile in my life

  • This is ridiculously glued to my childhood. It's terrible, but still evokes the most ridiculous happy memories and gleeful joy from this child buried somewhere in my brain. I didn't even get the double entendres or lyrics like "No more minor key" at the time, so seeing it again recently as a grown up provided a whole other layer of enjoyment.
