word i'm an ACID fan too. but howd u get up that screen for capturing the bass? looks a mad feature is it a plugin?

Those were 2 plugins from Waves Platinum. LinMB and RBass.

Thanks for checking it out y'all. Leroy...ACID 4.0 isn't good for doing drums because it doesn't have good quanitizing features. 5.0 or above does though.

yo, at 6:02 in ur video when u made the bassline. did u take the sample and then turn the lows up and drop the highs to make it follow the song? and did u use the track eq plugin on acid to make the bassline? please let me know! u need to make more tutorials this one was very good!

try beatmapping them do you use the bpm analyzer from mixmeister? usually if it has been beatmapped it wont play slowd down it using kicks in time

I have a setup similar to yours, although I use a cheap dj mixer to connect to my computer's headphone input. I cannot get a decent sample when I record into acid. It always sounds distorted, and the treble and bass is always way off. Do you have any ideas as to why im recording such a poor quality of sound? When played through the speakers, the record sounds fine, and ive tried many routes to try and get a better sound. any tips would be great. Thanks for your help.

don't be cheap on the info....the plug-in is not only -waves- cuz there's like a duzin of different effects...it's rather the WAVES RBas - plugIN. It works just fine for making basslines out of ordinary samples..and if u know your EQ too..then it's even easier.

i have acid 6, and i have this problem where i use the media manager for samples, but some of them are distorted/and/or slowed down, and i tried messing with the tempo as well as the settings for reserving pitch, but nothing happens, got any ideas?
