No. The F10s were custom (re)built (from F3As and F7As from the GM&O) for the MBTA. After the MBTA retired them (they bought F40PHs) some ended up being purchased by Metro North who uses them for backup power.

FYI, we're watching her depart WB (south) from MERRIT 7 station. She passes block limit GLOVE just south of the station and north of the Glover Ave grade crossing.

And they once had V12 engines, something that LIRR and NY&A still have on their SW6000s! (only as freight/yard movers)
they are not that old. Try 1957 (OK, still pretty darn old!)

Built (originally) in November 1946 for the Gulf ,Mobile & Ohio as #880A , so yes it was built that long ago , although it has been extensively rebuilt a few times since.
