This video is my response to Paul Dewar regarding Canadian foreign affairs.
If Canada is to become a nation truly dedicated to peacekeeping, she must commit herself to affecting change in the multilateral institutions within which she works, such as the UN and NATO. There is no point committing Canadian troops to such peacekeeping missions as the one in Rwanda unless Canada can ensure that the UN is also fully committed.
To become a peacekeeping nation Canada must also revise her education system. We must study global politics and Canada's place in the international order.
Only when these conditions have been met can Canada become truly dedicated to peacekeeping.
