As a Lakers fan, I am very sad to see the Sonics leave Seattle. Oklahoma City Thunder does not have a good name to it. But going back to the Sonics, I will never forget the rivalry we had with the Sonics during their days in Seattle. Of all of the teams the Lakers faced in the Western Conference, no one gave us fits more than the Seattle Super-Sonics. I have to thank the Seattle Super-Sonics of Dennis Johnson, Jack Sikma and Downtown Freddie Brown for bringing out the best from the Lakers.

As long as there is no team in Seattle and David Stern is Commissioner, I will never watch an NBA game or buy any of their merchandise again.

For the last time everyone we are not keeping the name SuperSonics.When the team relocates to Oklahoma City they will be called the Oklahoma City Thunderbirds and the team colors will be changed from green and yellow to gold and black.The Thunderbirds will play at the Ford Center which has a seating capacity of 19,599.
