Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) is characterized by the presence of two or more distinct and complex identities or personality states each of which becomes dominant and controls behavior from time to time to the exclusion of the others.

Chris Clemons is sharing this intimate part of his life in an effort to raise awareness and support for this disorder. Follow along as Chris and his "alters" are videotaped, displaying the complexities of everyday life experienced by someone who has grown accustomed to being sporadically jerked out of their life and caged, like in a coma or death or AIDS.
