when I start chromium on my aspire one zg5 the start up chromium logo is over a white background and when the login screen appears its silver - I prefer blue... I tried to install the classic theme (blue) but it still didn't change my browser from silver to blue can anyone help me customize it thanks

From what I have seen ChromeOS is better at conserving battery life than Windows. Running normal I have seen up 25% better run times on ChromeOS on the same netbook. It's even better at standby. I have seen up to 40% better standby time. So if you have a old netbook or notebook that you want to bring to life again install ChromeOS

@MolEinTubE I did have trouble getting Version 0.16.xxx running on Acer hardware, so you might want to get the Version 0.15.xxx instead.

@Nexxonja While I do agree with you on most of your points, I do not feel that a smartphone can substitute for a netbook. No matter what phone you pick up, you will never get that full internet browser experience. That and a good size keyboard keeps me on Chrome for now, at home.
