  • How can any you muh-fuggahs not like this?

  • He's a Kiwi, doe-doe, he ain't no dang-ol' Aussie nor a Kraut. He's also Caucasian. And he also rules. Fucking DOPE!!!

  • Go Graeme! Cakekitchen ROCKS. Your true fan...

  • God, I loved the Cake Kitchen. I saw Graeme do a solo gig at the old Knitting Factory in late 1992 right before Poem Rocket moved to NYC. I was completely starstruck and smitten. That guitar! A Flying-V! He played it when he played solo! So cool. What a great sound. Saw a handful of other Cake Kitchen shows at various venues over the years, but the Knitting Factory one is what I remember best. Thanks for the great music.

  • Beard of Bees, and the rest still are enjoyed here. Trying to find the "Purgatory" 7 or 12 inch. It rips ass!

    haha

Whats the myspace address for those not so keen to search late at night?

Great music.......compared to the sad ass heavy metal crap kids are fed these days. ZOnly thing missing in a linkin park song is the bit where the dog "up and dies" and the horse runs away!!!. Re the Cakes, we had to do some work to hear, find, see these dudes.....was worth it!

  • he is living in Wellington after a few months in Sydney. He played a Cakekitchen gig with us (The Finalists - ex Nocturnal Projections/Thorazine Shuffle) over here. check out our myspace page for some sounds. i've posted some footage from the gig today... cover of Joy Division's Atmosphere by CakeKitchen.

  • Remember seeing them at POD in Auckland, they were so friggin fantastic.
