  • Mountain top removal is even finer....more money. Get used to it people, it ain't going anywhere anytime soon. Especially seeing how china has announced to the world that they will buy it all. If you don't see the writing on the wall your blinded.

  • you can have coal if you mine it the traditional way

miners you can all keep your jobs and your paychecks.

we just DONT WANT MOUNTAIN TOP REMOVAL

    DEEP MINING IS FINE.

  • thumbs up if your glad don blankenship is gone.

  • @starvnny3535

im sure the miners would get more money if it was deep mining too. i dont think they would care as long as they have a job

  • @starvnny3535 they could

but its cheaper to remove the mountain from the coal than to do it the traditional way.

the traditional way is to remove the coal from the mountain.

mountain top removal is just profits over the commuinity safety and the enviroment

    its a crime against nature.

  • WHY !!!!!! cant they deep mine it ?????? Iv worked under ground for 13 years and i know most all coal seams in south east KY can and should be deep mined. So why not???? Be cause its faster and cheaper to just blow the Mountain up.. And that big fat guy would really have to work, instead of sitting on hes butt playing with a CB all day. I pray they ban Mountaintop Remova

  • Dear COAL MINERS: No one has a problem with coal mining it is the Mountaintop Removal they have an issue with. It is killing all of the biodiversity in the appalachian mountains which is supposedly your home so you SHOULD care about that and it is effecting the rest of the United States with its bad contaminated water which I don't appreciate at all. The only reason corporations started Mountaintop Removal was to benefit themselves NOT the local people.

  • I agree these poeple are way outta line...but what do you expect? It's their job, their way of life, it's what keeps them and their family alive. Don't hate the workers doing the grunt work of the Corporations.

  • Spend the millions on finding a better source of energy. Duh.

  • The negative effects of coal mining vastly outweigh the benefits. It is a proven economic fact.
