My Thoughts: God Warrior (Trading Spouses)

On a episode of "Trading Spouses", two women trade places. One is a new age healer, the other a southern Christian. After watching the entire episode, here's a few thoughts
1. Margeret has mental health issues she needs to deal with. I would reccomend therapy for the paranoia, the anger problems, and the incessant need of attention. She seems very histrionic. Her husband seemed like a nice guy, but shouldn't have to cowl down to his wife.
2. New age lady (Jeanne) was polite, intuitive, nurturing, and open-minded. Her husband was accomodating in every respect.
3. In the family, Brooke was being verbally abused in my opinion. No one should be told to "go fetch" like a dog, constantly. Teenage years for a young woman are important to build self-esteem.
4. The women that were guests calling themselves Christians in this show should go repent for being catty snots. If these women are going to heaven, I'll take purgatory. You think anyone wants to hear excessive bitchiness for an enternity?
If you haven't watched the full episode, you should for laughs. It's also a good study in modern Christian fanaticism.

Not only do I agree with you 100%, but I'm glad Jeanie got to help Brooke by allowing her to pick out the flower neckless to express herself (pretty neckless, too) and express herself through her dance. Positive reinforcement and praise for being a wonderful girl! The Ashley who sadly passed away, let her hypnotize her. She accepted her despite not feeling hypnotized. She saw no harm in it and took it, positively. The rest of the family should be the focus of true Christian behavior.

Wow! Spoken like a true Christian! I've given up on church because of freaks like Margaret, among other reasons, but it's refreshing to hear you speak so lovingly(at least that's how I saw it).

"Symbolism only has power when you give it power". That's so true! Well said.

I never watched Trading Spouses, but now I wish I could have seen this episode.

I really liked the New age family, not only was the women an awesome person but so was her husband, I thought he was pretty cool for being open minded to the christian lady, it showed alot when he agreed to have him and his family attend a church with the christian lady =P it pissed me off when she kept telling the new age mom how her hubby forced things on her when he did nothing but try to make the women feel welcome, she pretty much spat in his face -_-
