At last!!!!!!!!!!!!! The nearest to the correct pronunciation of the days of the week. Why is that predominantly nowadays, instead of being pronounced: 'mondy, tuesdy, wensdy' etc, the tendency now is to elongate the 'day', as in daaaay, mondaaaaay,tuesdaaaaay and so on. Irritates the life out of me. How on earth did this come about?
