Recently I've discovered a damaged 78rpm record from early 1950s (circa 1952), which was made by Military Public Information Services of Korea(Korean; 대한민국 국방부정훈국), during the Korean War.

It contains a well-known propaganda song called "Song of The Korean War" (Literally translated as "Song of June 25th(The date Korean War was started)", Korean; "6.25의 노래"), sung by Korean Tenor Sang-Choon Lee(Korean; 이상춘) and Soprano Cheon-Aae Kim(Korean; 김천애).

The Song is no more than a simple, intolerant propaganda - treating North Koreans as "Pitiless Enemies" (But what do you expect during the War?). Anyway, I made a music video, using Archive footages of Korean War.

The record was played on my HMV 102 portable. Although the record is damaged - two severe cracks on the surface - I played this on acoustic machine since the playback has less surface noise.

Let Us Hope this tragedy will not be repeated again, and Peace come to Korea and Koreans.
