I'm a bit sick of the whole urban legend thing... there was no Seaman Staines, Master Bates and the cabin boy was called TOM if you listen. It was just a stupid rumour which circulated and the makers successfully sued. This is a great children's cartoon

@frankdertank1984 And why don't you watch the video (the one we're commenting on)? He clearly says Master Mate and calls the cabin boy Tom, not Roger. Yes, it would have been hilarious if they had been using rude names all these years, but it just isn't true. You're just hearing what you want to hear.
