A great live album that has sadly gone overlooked and under appreciated.

If you ever get the chance to see them live its still awsome, saw my first tuna show on his 70th first night at the beacon and it was magic, everybody who as there said best tuna show they had ever seen. the "hot tuna blues" tour they do is ehh, still hot tuna still rocks but if you can see a regular tour its really something after all these years he still sounds amazing, looks great Ive seen em 5 times in the the past few years, and ill definately see em again

Water song inspired me to pick up guitar, and in actuality its not all that complicated. How he came up with it is truly astounding but to actually learn once you break it down its actually a bunch of simple things put togther to make some of the best jams to ever fill the air. Wish he got more mention, on an acoustic he reigns king and Electric tuna is chillingly good, excellent vid thanks for posting the Double dose version in good quality instead of the studio

If you know Hot Tuna then you know what the 70s was all about. Time to listen, time to reflect on the feelings generated by the band. Hot Tuna gave you a unique concert every time they played. New bands should learn the art of jamming slowly.

this is good but not near as good as the studio version Where Jorma can play alot of leads thanks to tracking studio much better, how bout when they play Sea Child Live there is no lead guitar it just seems off...anyhow still good its Jorma

This is a good version no doubt but does not have half the guitar as the studio cut from America's Choice that is the one you gotta hear, laying tracks is a good thing
You're right stillustronic. His finger picking is/was amazing, and he never gets mentioned in any of the guitar magazines.

Jorma Kaukonen might be the most under-appreciated guitarist of all time.
His acoustic finger picking is mind boggling to try and follow let alone learn!
