Solomon was the son of David and Bathsheba. He came to the throne aided by his mother, Nathan the prophet, and Zadok the priest. Solomon prayed for wisdom and became famous for his wise sayings. He built the first Temple in Jerusalem using forced labor and materials obtained from Hiram of Tyre. Solomon solidified his power by marriage alliances with other kingdoms. These marriages eventually led to the establishment of pagan shrines in Jerusalem.

1 Kgs 3:1-15 - Prays for wisdom.

1 Kgs 11:1-13 - Marriages and idolatry

Oh my God, (smile)! I was just thinking about how that song by Barlow Girl "I need you to love me" just seems to fit and at the same time it came on. It's playing right now on my cable contemporary channel. I glanced at the clock and it's 2:17 a.m. I'm sure this can be confirmed. I don't know how, but it's on.

Please go listen to it. Wow! God just kissed me. Oh and Solomon asked God to kiss his heart! That wass beautiful and I ask the same for myself and us all! Amen! Yeaaaaa!

Why does it matter if the jews were black???? Well why are those people in Israel pretending to be Jews? Why have the world been presented with a WHITE JEsus? Why Do church leaders lie by not telling the truth? You then ask "wonder why they have no interest in going back?" Who said we have no interest of going back? Where did you get that from. @brenluke1 Does it say that Solomon was black? I would imgaine that he was, just never knew that it said it. Just a question though, why does it matter if the Jews were black? Ive seen the debate before but never fully understood why it was important. I have studied that tribes from africa are decendants of the original tribes...wonder why they have no interest in going back.

Yes you are right Solomon is a BLACK MAN. The bible Clearly states this! But you see people try to ignore this vital point. The Truth is finally coming out. MOSES was also Black Exodus chap 4 ver 6-7. Go check your bible people.

Actually in the Song of Solomon, Solomon does state that he is of dark skin. In verse 1:5 and he asks that the reader not pay mind to the color of his skin. Please look this up for yourself, but he was of dark skin; and yes, he was still a Hebrew.

This is totally wrong .Only the high priest could enter the Holy of Hollies.And that was only once a year.Joab would have been struk down by God for entering the sanctuary
