this is the Guassian Elimination method for solving simultaneous equations. It is different to the matrices method. I have an assignment question which asks to use Cramer's rule, Guassian elimination, operations of rows and columns, matrices and algebraically. The pure matrices method means you find the inverse of the matrix and multiply by the determinant and then multiply by the equation coefficients. maybe change the title because i came here looking for the matrices method
This does explain how to do the problem. However, you are like my current math instructor who takes 100 unnecessary extra steps.
