Park Royal Hotel Cozumel - Travelmovies

Park Royal Cozumel opens its doors again being without a doubt one of the most spectacular hotel complexes in the island. It is an "All Inclusive" resort that display buildings that feature an impressive Mayan Style stone work. A private underpass leads to a natural secluded beach, set up in a small cove. Everything included for the same price!

I got scammed at Park Royal this weekend. Do not stay here. There are alot of other places where you will not get scammed. We had actually planned on switching from the Cozumeleno to the Park Royal, but then we were scammed by them. That's a shame to take advantage of us now the park royal will get alot of negative publicity.

@travelmovies Sure, I will tell you. First I must say that I loved the hotel, But I was offered a dive for my wife and I if we listened to the sales pitch which did. We were offered the dive and paid for the dive on Saturday. We were to listen to the sales pitch sunday morning then dive afterwards. We were picked up at the cozumeleno and taken to Park Royal Sunday Morning. We listened to the sales pitch but did not buy anything. were then told we could not dive today and no refunds.

I enjoyed staying at the Park Royal. I found the entertainment staff to be excellent, especially Omar and Luis. I also enjoyed the fact that it was a smaller resort, which made it alot easier to meet new people.The food was average, but the drinks were great. I want a "Dirty Monkey" right now!

That is why you should use a travel agent. We have a relatioship with the hotels and vendors. Thus, can find you a good deal so that you don't have to listen to time share.

@travelmovies I am sad that it happened also. I really liked the hotel and the staff seemed very friendly. We travel to cozumel about 4 times a year. I would have liked to have stayed their. But, I think I will stick with cozumeleno now.

@flatpicker1234 We could dive the next day, but we could not as we were flying out then, but still no refund on the dive. They took half of our last day their with no dive and any chance of us staying their. Even though we liked the hotel better.
