RAF Red Arrows Display Microsoft Flight Simulator

This is a display featuring the full 9-ship team in various manoeuvres over RAF Leuchars ( EGQL ). I've made it to show that it is possible to perform such complex flying within FS2004. There is no smoke as FSRecorder doesn't support it very well in multi-aircraft formations within FS2004. Vertical formation manoeuvres were also not possible due to limitations within FSRecorder / FS2004.

Created using FSRecorder and utilising Flight Environment, Ground Environment, FS Global and the Iris Hawk ( freeware ). Video author was flight-trained using FS2004 by Qualified Flying Instructors at RAFsim, and is the former OC of RAFsim 43 Squadron.

Comp specs; Dual-core wide-screen laptop ( 1.6GB ), 1 GB RAM, Intel 8800M Graphics Card.

RAFsim, FAAsim and AACsim are a privately owned Tri-Services organisation using FS2004 and FSX to simulate the British Armed Forces within Flight Simulator. Using a UK based server, with multiple squadrons and extensive training environments for both experienced simmers and newcomers to on-line flying, no other UK based military VA offers anything close to the quality available within these orgs.

Music on the video is privately purchased from the excellent Audio Network plc.

in case anyone was wondering, yes i am that "music guy" asking what songs were used in every video you will ever see. so if you wouldn't mind video maker guy(by the way, my name is dean too, if that will help you to answer my question in any way) what songs did you use? particularly the celtic one near the end.

@dean84921 I'm afraid I really can't remember the names of the songs Dean, as it was so long ago that I downloaded them. The name of the company I used is in the video description, and the songs cost me less than £1 each. Go to the site and you can hear the various tracks with a 'sample' button.

@DEAN01973 I live in lincoln and they regularly train as their based at scampton. They fly in a 5 3 formation at the minute with a space missing for the pilot that died. We also get alot of vc10's and awacs flying over. Last week the fighter jets did some combat training with pirotechnics at waddington, i actually thought we were under attack, was awesum to watch.

well 8 were out today at Blackpool airshow as 1 remained on the ground at chester, well it was a female pilot that was to pliot number 9 :P

@GlennTehGamer Really! YOUR FIBBING! evidence RIAT 2011 , 9 flew, RNAS Yeovilton, Swansea air show . ALL THERE , The government uses the red arrows for promotional use, for youngsters wanting to try a aviation career so dont write that it will let them down!!!
