I think that guy was making a hyperbole. Anyways, I like this type of music, and it's good folk is being passed on. Of course they're not as skilled as adults and they would probably rather be doing something else, but this is the kind of music that keeps families together. That's what folk music is about, really. Sharing something unique that keeps people close knit.

I'm thai and I hate thai traditional music. Because it sucks and the notes sounds absolutely nonsense. Poor children they have to play annoying music that's why they look like they are not motivated to play the instruments. They should play something else intresting.
