  • @CFinNaples I was going to say President Obama was technically wrong in his recess appointment of CFPB Director Cordray (as much as I support the action in theory). But you bring up a very interesting point. I hope the Republicans do bring it before the Supreme Court. The justices will be forced to rule in favor of Article 2.

  • If there's a question about whether or not Congress was adjourned, the issue is decided NOT by the Supreme Court, but BY THE PRESIDENT according to Article 2 section 3 of the Constitution: "in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper"

Go ahead, McConnell: MAKE OUR DAY.

  • Mitch McConnell also publically said that his #1 job is to NOT work with President Obama on ANYTHING and make him a 1 term President. Considering the millions of struggling Americans we have, thats a VERY un-patriotic position to take. What ever happened to country BEFORE party?
