As promised, here is our experience with using the Red One Camera, chronicling our voyage beyond the still image. Looking forward to our next project featuring living art portraits. Stay tuned After the video, take a peek at the links to see the final results.
Were very excited about all the possibilities with converging photography and motion. Big thanks to everyone who helped make this happen. Especially Pam, DJ and Chad over at Hallmark who championed the idea. Its not every client who is willing to take a risk with something new and they deserve recognition for this.

why not ? more cash flow , more options more creativity.wouldn't you want to have your work exposed like that?
damn the lighting equipment is twice the size of my fat.I am impressed. I like this shit tho.I'd have to sell a kidney to get oen of those RED cams, its too bad you need to buy at least 10k of equipment once you got the "body" before it is ready to roll.

Junk. Just another advertisment. And as the budgets shrink they need yahoos online to spread the word. It's called viral marketing.

Needs higher resolution than 1080 :)

Why did you not consider using the 5d Mark II's video. The still resolution is more than sufficinet and the subsequent movement could be done in 1080p. Or does nie digital poster need higher resolution ( 4k?) OR is it the 30p framrate .... ?

Thanks for your response to my comment on the Red One. My career title is Gaffer, which puts me on the set with all types of cameras. The Red being one of the latest. Lighting for the Red is no different than lighting for a 35mm Arriflex. There is no crushing of the blacks as with typical video, which is cool. The white to black lighting curve mimics film to a tee. The Red is an awesome camera. I see film emulsion as being a thing of the past very soon. Much like the phonograph vinyl record.

Very cool, Absolutely love the Red, the image quality is amazing. Motion Picture lighting instruments and techniques for digital photography rocks. I would like to have the opportunity to take the Briese HMI out for a test drive one for these days just to see what it can do. Great video, you guys rock...
