A few minutes worth of onboard film from Eddies Cagiva at the end of Qualifying at Eastern Creek.
Still my favourite piece of onbaord grand prix footage.
Awesome at 0:52 !!!

  • @trialsted I dident know the tehnology is that old, when did f1 first use carbon fibre discs

  • @filipzanetic why not?

  • Direct injection 2 Strokes creates a 4-stroke power band. For most people that is better. But like I many people like that hit. With Direction injection you can have different power curves. It is possible to make a power band that is narrower…than a current carborator2-stroke. Aprilia made a direct injection RS250 and did this. They had easy power curves like a 4 stroke, aggressive curves, and curves that emulated carb 2-strokes with that very hard hit harder hitting than today’s. THUMBS UP!

  • Carbon fiber discs in 1991 how ?

  • this shit is amazing

  • @CBR11X

    spot on!

  • Non ha chiuso il becco un secondo TESTA DI CAZZO!

  • That was a nice bike.

  • @Axxisss Dude, the new bikes lap the tracks in a shorter time, so the average speed is faster. They also have a greater top speed. The fastest speed I ever saw a 500 do was when Shinichi Ito's Honda hit 322 kph at Hockenheim. The new bikes are faster than this. The 990 Ducati hit over 340 km/h at Mugello a few years back and Dani Pedrosa's Honda has also seen 340+ km/h.They are also less vicious and perhaps a little easier to ride than the old 500s. I sure do miss those bikes man. Peace..

  • @lorenzomugnai .... and GUTS !
