Millions around the world watched a blurry black and white TV image on July 20, 1969 as Neil Armstrong became the first person to step foot on the moon. Now 40 years later, millions on the internet can watch a slightly less blurry black and white video image of that same event. NASA has released the enhanced restored video to mark the moon landing anniversary.
he gets down for the first time so how did the camera get out there to film him?!?

Cool clip! Mr Armstrong perfected his moonwalk years before Michael Jackson! If only Neil & the gang had moved on to explore the planets...maybe they'd have been able to find out if there really are rings around Uranus!

If nobody's ever seen "In the Shadow of the Moon", I highly recommend it. See it on Blu-Ray if possible--some of the footage it contains is astounding.
