what a great idea! bet you could do this in knit too. lots of really cool crochet and knit stitches to try. i will plan mine out carefully. wouldn't fun fur be cool around the face?

Well I made my first big crochet project being a gift to myself. This scoodie of course! I used ultra alpaca yarn(50% alpaca, 50% wool) and I love it! The "mistake" you refer to in extending the hood part makes it look more...textured I guess would be the word but love it all the same. Thanks for the video tutorial. I look forward to my next project. BTW, I have learned how to crochet in the 6th grade and haven't done much of it since. Now I can't stop! :0)
